It’s likely that a cease and desist caused OpVista to rebrand AnyWave
OpVista recently announced that it is rebranding (had to?) its AnyWave Optical Networking Platform to nWave.
OpVista is making this move to proactively avoid any potential dispute with Vanu, Inc.’s use of the “AnyWave” terminology.
Vanu owns the registered mark AnyWave for “computer software for use in operating wireless telecommunications systems.

- Goto the PTO website, then click "Search." From there, click "Free Form Search (Advanced Search)." Copy and paste TMBC search strategy into the "Search Term" field. Click "Submit Query." And voila. [video explanation]
